Responsive Web Design for Main Street Princess Anne

January 11, 2017

We’re delighted to have recently been approached by the Princess Anne Main Street Partnership to produce a new responsive website for their local businesses.

Located on the lower eastern shore of Maryland in at the seat of Somerset County,  The Princess Anne Main Street Partnership was organized in 2007 under the leadership of local private citizens Jim & Simone Theiss, Ben Alder, Beth and Alby Modiano. The State of Maryland accepted the partnership into the state and national program.  The original partnership included the Town of Princess Anne, the Somerset Historical Trust, UMES and the Princess Anne Chamber. The Main Street program is a central focus and vehicle for the Town’s Long Range Plan. Main Street greatest strength is our focus on bringing people together to the redevelopment and future of downtown Princess Anne.

The new website has been given a fresh new look and provides a better reflection of the broad range of businesses and events the cozy and quaint little town has to offer. The website also provides comprehensive business incentives and additional processes for small business expansion programs.

The website is easier to navigate and has been produced in a responsive/mobile-friendly format to provide an ideal viewing experience across all devices.

A responsive website design is now an essential part of any company’s online strategy due to the volume of searches carried out on mobile devices. It’s also an important consideration for online marketing, as Google counts a website’s mobile-friendliness as one of its search engine ranking factors.

It’s been a pleasure working with Princess Anne Main Street Partnership, and we look forward to working with them again in the future. To find out more about Princess Anne Main Street and to take a look at the website, visit www.princessannemainst.com.

We've had a facelift

April 28, 2015

We’ve had a spring clean and swept out the old and brought in the new, with an updated logo and website design.

As trends and tastes change and businesses evolve it’s important to remain current and review your marketing materials from time to time. So we thought we should practice what we preach and review our own identity.

We’ve ditched the deep designer blue for fresh vibrant colors and a new distinctive font, giving a modern and friendlier identity. Bright red and blue cornflower have been added to the color palette to add vibrancy and the new colors are used throughout the website to color code different services. The set of circles has now evolved into a merged inner/outer set of circles creating the letters "C" and "U" accented with spectrums at each end, which will also be used across all marketing materials to develop a stronger identity.

Our brand new responsive website is up and running and includes a fresh new look and updated service list and portfolio. The responsive format provides the best viewing experience on all devices, whether using a desktop PC, tablet or smartphone. This is now an essential part of any company’s online marketing strategy, due to Google’s latest algorithm update which has started ranking mobile-friendly websites higher than non-mobile friendly sites. Even without Google’s update, a responsive website is a smart move due to the ever growing number of people browsing the internet on mobile devices.

Take a look around our website and let us know what you think.
